A Rose to Adore

 Good things do come to those who wait,
Like all that happened on this date,
A time that I will not forget,
Dreaming about the rose I met,
Thankful evermore for ‘God’s grace’,
Holding me with your soft embrace,
Allured by your wisdom and strength,
Tempting feelings into arm’s length,
I enjoy feeling your respect,
Making your inner self perfect
Ecstatic you choose to confide,
Thank you for letting me inside,
Your pleasure brings pleasure to me,
Orating bliss as you agree,
Under your spell I see no strife,
Ever since you brightened my life,
Since May twenty two thousand four,
Eternal rose I still adore.
