A Rose to Treasure I speak of she who I hold dear, Confiding in her without fear, Her voice calms many a sorrow, Ever all I hear of morrow, Rapt by love now and forever, I care for her through whatever, Seeing her happy expression, Has freed my thoughts from depression, You can see the greatness in her, Observe her and you will concur, Utmost respect for her I hold, Easily more precious than gold, Seduced by a real true-life dream, Eternal rose of high esteem. A Rose to Desire I envision the purple rose princess, Lusciously craving for that soft caress, Overcome with love we chose to confess; Virtue in this rose I seek to observe, Expressed in ways that I may not deserve, Yet it brings me joy when seeing her verve; Obeisant before her beauty am I, Urging me to never blink either eye, Else my sadness would be in great supply; She smiles away all the sorrow and pain, Elegant as ever and far from vain, My life with Mer shall never be mundane; Yes I pray to continue knowing her, Each day I am with Mer I feel stronger, Time with Mer moves both slower and faster; Every moment is better that the last, Radiance of her love is pure and vast, Near her fervent presence my heart beats fast; And with Mer I refuse to be untrue, Loving her is what my soul craves to do, Recalling life without her was askew; Object of my boundless love since that day, So thankful she did not keep me at bay, Eternal rose be forever my way. A Rose to Embrace I have seen beauty in a rose, No words came to mind as I froze, She spoke with voice soft and sweet, Petals were louder on concrete, I can smell this fragrant flower, Redolent of a rain shower, Emitting a scent of pure joy, Drew my focus by being coy, Blossoms that looks smooth to the touch, Yearned have I for nectar as such, Enkindling feelings undreamed of, She must be blessed by divine love, Eternal rose sent from above.
